For out of towners that are relocating it can be very difficult to find a neighborhood that is safe, has good schools, and will provide them a good resale value if they have to leave. One of these neighborhoods is Seven Oaks in Bakersfield.

Why Seven Oaks?

For people looking to bring their families to Bakersfield, Seven Oaks is a great community. The neighborhood is based around working professionals. You will find Doctors, Lawyers, Business Owners, Teachers, and many more types of professions. The schools are some of the best and most sought after in the city, including Ronald Reagan Elementary school. There is one of the premier Country Clubs in town, Seven Oaks Country Club, which provides yourself and your family with a meeting place for your friends and family, but also with a meeting place for other people in the community.
On top of all of this, Seven Oaks is growing. It is getting larger and more integrated. Highgate, in Seven Oaks, is one of the newest neighborhoods in the area. They are looking to have a large community with a community pool, workout center, parks, and even plans for a future school! They have just opened an Active adult community, started working on the Seven Oaks Business park, and are working on opening even more new communities in the near future.

What Do I Do Around Seven Oaks?

Because Seven Oaks attracts, the elite of this community, there is also a lot of higher end commercial development in the area. You have Target, Nordstrom Rack, Eureka Burger, DSW, and even the new Yard House coming to the area. You have some of the most sought after Office Space in Bakersfield in these neighborhoods as well, and not to mention the Riverwalk park which is just walking distance from the neighborhood, and contains the bike path which will take you from one end of town to the other if you choose to ride that far!
